What doesn't work:
- Wifi tethering & USB tethering, Offline charging: needs usb driver update from 3.0 kernel
- FM Radio: not implemented in CM yet
- Youtube HQ: needs OpenMaX(omx) libraries for armv6
- Camera
- Funny SIM (128k USIMs)
- Bluetooth


Releases aren't usefull for daily usage if you want to use camera and bluetooth.

Back up your contents of the sd card to PC

Disable USB-MS
Skip to the Installation section

Make a nandroid back up
Make full wipe (except wipe sd) for the first time installation

INSTALLATION :

Now lets make LG Optimus Net a clone of iPhone

1) Wipe data/factory reset

6) Flash Beauty Patch 1 or 2 (OPTIONAL but good if you flashed)

How to root LG Optimus NET P690

1. Rooting LG Optimus NET P690 using SuperOneClick 

1. First of all download  Superoneclick from here: Superoneclick 2.2
2. Download LG Drivers from here: LG Drivers
3. Now, extract Superoneclick files to a separate folder in your PC.
4. Also check again USB debugging is enabled or not. Also, you must connect the android device to PC with the USB cable.
5. Now, you should be careful and moving ahead you must unmount your phone’s SD card. For this, go to Settings>Storage>Unmount SD Card.
6. Now, move to the folder where you had extracted Superoneclick files. You will find a folder “adb” in the extracted contents.
7. Open the “adb” folder and right click on white space and select “Open Command Prompt here”.
8. In the command prompt you need to type:
   adb devices then press ENTER (now after this check out the device id)
   adb shell and press ENTER (after this command you can see $ sign)
   $ echo 1 >/data/local/lge_adb.conf ( then again press ENTER)
9. Now, minimize the command prompt (Do not close it).
10. Go to the Superoneclick extracted folder and click on Superoneclick.exe
11. On the left hand side top of the window you will be able to see Root. Click on that option.
12. Now you should get the message “Killing ADB and restarting as root”
13. Now, reboot your phone and you are done.

Congratulations you have a rooted LG Optimus Net P690 and now your Android is free.

2. Installing ClockWorkMod custom recovery:


First, Your phone must be rooted.
If it's not, use above guide of rooting.
Here we're using Android Terminal Emulator to install recovery because every user may not have PC. :)


First download these files:

1. recovery.img

(After dowloading 'recovery.img', move it to the root folder of the SD Card.)

2. flash_image.zip

(After dowloading this file, extract it and move it to the root folder of the SD Card)


Done? Great!
Now you must check the MD5 Sum of 'recovery.img' file. 

Use Root Explorer to do it. Download and install it. (You'll need to buy it from Play Store but you can get it for free from somewhere else.)

Open Root Explorer and navigate to /sdcard and find 'recovery.img' file. Long click on it and when a menu appear, select 'Properties'. You'll see the last line 'MD5'.
Compare it with this MD5 Sum:

MD5 Sum of recovery.img: 258e95cd2a697d902c2c139893d83063

(Now see if both sums are same. If not, download the recovery.img and try again)


Now download and install Terminal Emulator on your phone from Google Play Store.

Open Terminal Emulator and type su
and press 'Enter' (When you'll press enter you will see # sign.)
Then the Terminal Emulator will ask for Superuser permissions. Allow it and copy paste these lines ONE BY ONE.
COPY LINES ONLY, DON'T COPY '#' with any line. Press 'Enter' after pasting each line. # will appear automatically.



# mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system 
# cat /sdcard/flash_image> /system/bin/flash_image 
# chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image 
# mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak 
# mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system 
# flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img 
# reboot recovery


NOTE: This command:

mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak

It'll give you an error but ignore it and continue.

And TADA! CWM is installed :D


To boot into recovery, download and use 'Quickboot' app from Play Store instead of using keys combination.
